ROAD SURFACE improvement works due to be carried out at Tagoat will be completed before the end of next month, roads director Tony Larkin told Cllr. Jim Moore (FG). The director indicated that the re-laying of the road through Camolin - already under way - will also be completed before November is out. He explained that, in order to qualify for Government support, both projects must be concluded before 20012 ticks over into 2013.

Cllr. Declan MacPartlin, who resides near Camolin, recorded his congratulations to the relevant contractor. The independent representative has been impressed by the way in which the traffic stop/go system has been implemented on the busy N11 which runs through the village.
