Roche Freight plays Santa Claus to primary schools

Roche Freight Ireland of Rosslare Harbour played Santa to three local schools whose pupils took part in a Christmas card design competition run by the company.

The winner was Kilrane national school which received a €1,200 voucher for Prim-Ed publishers in New Ross while the runners-up Tagoat and Rosslare Strand national schools were each given a €750 voucher.

Kilrane school also received a €1,000 donation to a charity of its choice and selected Kilrane National School Special Needs Awareness Group as the beneficiary.

There were hundreds of entries in the competition which was won by 6th class pupil Danny Howlin of Kilrane school who received a €50 prize from the company. About 400 cards incorporating Danny's colourful design were sent out to Roche Freight customers at home and abroad.
