Sadness at death of great character Molly
A SHINING LIGHT went out with the death of well-known Wexford character Mary (Molly) Brennan.
Molly died at Wexford General Hospital following a short illness. She was 58 years old.
Born and reared in the heart of Barntown, she was known for her good humour, her wit and her kindness to others.
She was predeceased by her beloved mother Nellie only 16 months ago.
Molly worked for the past 38 years at Wexford Creamery, where she was popular with all her colleagues. She retired from the job recently.
She led a simple life, enjoying weekly visits to town on a Friday and also loved the Bingo.
Molly and her mother Nellie were well-known in Bingo circles and regularly travelled to venues around the county..
Burial took place in Barntown cemetery after funeral Mass in the local church.
Molly is survived by her partner Martin; her aunt Betty in Wicklow, her cousins and many friends.
