Schools win sports gear

Two classes in Wexford received county awards in the National Dairy Council's Moo Crew competition.

First class at St Colman's National School, Ballindaggin and fourth class at Scoil Mhuire, Barntown each received a sports equipment pack for their school.

Moo Crew is a fun and interactive way for children to learn about the benefits of a healthy, balanced diet and the importance of exercise. It is supported by the National Dairy Council in light of research that showed some children had inadequate calcium intakes.
