PLEASE, can we have some more? That's what audiences were left saying following Scoil Mhuire Coolcotts' fantastic performance of 'Oliver' last week.

The show, which saw 85 fifth and sixth class students take to the stage, has been in the pipeline since March.

According to show director Susan Somers, the success of the performance was a result of the enthusiasm of the children and the efforts of the huge team of staff involved.

'Over 15 staff members, including the caretaker, have been involved with rehearsals and the painting of sets,' she said.

This is the tenth year that fifth and sixth class students have taken part in a play together and according to Susan, it has become a much-loved tradition amongst the students.
