See Ed Sheeran 'live' in Wexford
For those who didn't get a ticket for Ed Sheeran's sellout shows in Croke Park, and even for those who did, there's a chance to see him play live in London, without leaving Wexford.
Ed is well known to be proud of his Wexford roots, and visits his relatives in the Gorey area when his busy schedule allows.
He even donned a Wexford jersey during the second of his sellout Croke Park shows in July, bearing the number ten on the back, in reference to both the name of his album 'X' and the fact that it had gone ten times platinum in Ireland.
His mesmerising live performances have now been captured in a new concert film called 'Jumpers for Goalposts'.
The film brings together performances from the biggest shows of his career at Wembley Stadium in London last July. It is intercut with the story of his road to fame.
On Thursday, October 22, at 6.30 p.m. Ed will be beamed live via satellite from London's Leicester Square at the world première of the film to theWexford Omniplex at Drinagh on the Rosslare Road. This special cinema event includes red carpet highlights, an exclusive live performance from Ed, and the film shown in its entirety for the first time.
Encore showings of the Thursday event will be in Wexford Omniplex over the following three days: Friday, October 23, at 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, October 24 and 25 at 2 p.m.
