Sentencing of man who had sawn-off shotgun adjourned

A WEXFORD man who previously pleaded guilty to possession of a sawn-off shotgun, was further remanded in custody when he came before Wexford Circuit Court last week.
Patrick O'Connor (pictured left) of 17 Ard na Dard, Clonard appeared before Judge Alice Doyle for sentencing on the matter, but his defence counsel Colman Cody said he was not happy with the case going ahead as he was still waiting on various reports which the court had asked to be prepared.
Mr. Cody told Judge Doyle that his client is in custody on another matter.
Judge Doyle adjourned the matter to the April sitting of the Circuit Court.
