Shock at Brian's sudden death
The family and friends of Brian Modler of Tagoat were in deep shock and sadness this week following his unexpected death last weekend.
Mr. Modler who was 54 years old, died suddenly at his home in Poulrankin, Tagoat on Saturday.
A native of Belfast who settled in Wexford 18 years ago, he is survived by his wife, Eleanor, a well-known speech therapist at Wexford Community Health Centre; his son, Bobby and sister, Joan as well as other relatives and his many friends. Brian was known through his business, Brian Modler Ropes based at Wexford Enterprise Centre and as a voluntary worker with Wexford Festival Opera.
His funeral Mass took place in St. Mary's Church, Tagoat on Monday followed by burial in Our Lady's Island Cemetery.
