Searching for the nearest hotel or tourist stop, listening to music and making calls are just some of the things we rely on our smartphones for. The challenge has been for drivers to utilise this technology in a safe manner while they are driving. Now with SKODA's new SmartLink, drivers can make the most of their smartphones by safely accessing approved app technologies - for free!

The recently launched SKODA Superb already benefits from this technology as standard. Now, the majority of Fabia, Rapid, Octavia and Yeti models ordered before the 31st December will come with this innovative SmartLink Technology completely free. In addition to free SmartLink, SKODA are also providing interest free finance on Fabia, Rapid, Octavia and Yeti models. The new SmartLink system from SKODA connects drivers to selected applications on their Apple or Android devices via a colour touch screen system in the vehicles radio, using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. One of the biggest benefits for motorists is that mapping and navigation applications from Apple and Google can therefore be safely displayed, accessed and controlled on the vehicles colour screen or in some cases by voice commands.
