Slane marks thirty years

1981 Thin Lizzy headlined the first ever Slane Concert to a modest crowd of 18,000 and U2 seventh on the bill 1982 The Rolling Stones made the first of their two appearances on the Slane stage – although members attended more gigs in Ireland in the mean time 1983 U2 headline for the first time with massive support from Big Country, Eurythmics and Simple Minds.
