Slimming World group increase steps for cancer event
Members from the Slimming World Clayton Whites Hotel group increased their steps for the month of September to raise awareness about cancer.
About 16 members from the Slimming World group in Clayton Whites walked two laps of the Wexford Racecourse as part of their awareness for the month.
It is recommended walk 10,000 steps a day for a healthy lifestyle, but it can be quite difficult especially for those who work in an office.
'As a group we each set our own individual goals for the Stepping All Over Cancer event,' said consultant Tamsin O'Neill.
The group meet every Tuesday in Clayton Whites at 9.30 a.m., 11.30 a.m., 5.30 p.m., and 7.30 p.m. New members are always welcome.
