Slippery gulleys may be fixed

Gulleys on Wexford's Main Street are still proving to be a hazard, according to Cllr George Lawlor.
Cllr Lawlor asked whether a solution had been found for the slippery gulleys. Senior Executive Engineer Mr Craig Innes said that in-site tests of a 'newfangled cleaning product' were proving successful. Cllr Lawlor's point about many 'bad falls' was quickly intercepted by Director of Services Tony Larkin who said that some accident claims are 'failing'.
'I've had calls from people who have had accidents and are not claiming,' responded Cllr Lawlor. 'It's not all about claiming.'
