Stepping it out for Tracie
STROLLERS stepped it out across Wexford bridge recently at the second annual ' Tracie's Walk' to raise cash and awareness for cystic fibrosis research.
Organised by the Tracie Lawlor Trust the event is also a much enjoyed social event for supporters of the charity, and they enjoyed a lunch afterwards in the Talbot Hotel.
A total of 70 sponsored walkers strode from Castlebridge to Wexford town during the bank holiday.
They received medals of completion and t-shirts at the lunch in the Talbot, during which Ian Lawlor gave a talk about the work of the Tracie Lawlor Trust.
'Everyone seemed to really enjoy the day. It's more than just a fundraising day, it's a chance to say thanks to people who fundraise all year and to hopefully increase awareness about what we do,' said Ian.
