Teen rushed to hospital

A 16-year-old boy was rushed to hospital by ambulance on Friday after being carried from a derelict house in Bridgetown by two of his friends.

Witnesses said a squad car and an ambulance were called to the incident. The unconscious teenager was handed to the ambulance crew by the two youngsters and was being given chest compressions as the vehicle was driven away with blue lights flashing and its siren sounding.

The 16-year-old was said have woken up sick and groggy, but otherwise all right.
