The FINAL week of the Wexford People Buy and Win promotion saw another five lucky readers around the district win €20 for picking up a copy of their local newspaper.

Over at Centra, Castlebridge, Catriona O'Hanlon from Cushinstown was approached by the Buy and Win team when she bought the Wexford People. 'Thank you very much! My day is now made,' said Catriona.

At Centra, Whitemills, Denis Kelleher from Kennedy Park was a bit surprised when the team handed him a €20 note. 'I can't believe it, thank you. I may buy the paper more often now and I might do the lotto,' said Denis.

In Costcutter Newline Stores, Mary Dempsey from Pinewood was over the moon when she received her prize. When asked what she was going to do with the money, she said she was unsure with Lent starting soon.

Over in Londis, Piercestown, Anne Maloney from Murrintown was hesitant when she was told she had won €20. 'I didn't believe you at that start, I didn't know what was going on. But thanks a million! I will try not to spend it all in the one shop,' said Anne.

In Centra, Bridgetown, Mary Sinnott from Bridgetown, could not elieve her luck when she got her cash prize. 'I did not think this would happen to me! Thank you very much,' said Mary.
