Hawaiian singer Glenn Medeiros turned to teaching after his music career came to an end, and is now vice principal at a primary school in his native Honolulu. 'Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You' marked the pinnacle of his career, reaching number one in the Billboard charts in the U.S. in 1987 and then, in July 1988, No. 1 in the UK, Ireland and other countries. The song was one of eight American number one hits for the profilic Gerry Goffin, who co-wrote it with Michael Masser. Sadly, Masser passed away last Thursday at the age of 74.
