Three men seriously injured in crash on the New Line Road

Three men have been rushed to hospital after a two vehicle crash outside of Wexford town on Wednesday evening.

The collision occurred at around 6.45pm on the Wexford to Duncannon Road, about 3km from Wexford, between at truck and a car. The three males in the car were seriously injured and taken to Wexford General Hospital where their injuries are described as serious. The driver of the truck was uninjured.

The road has been closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision examination and diversions are in place.

Witness to the collision or anyone who was on the road between 6.40pm and 7pm are asked to contact Wexford Garda station on 053 9165200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
