Tight lines as 90 fish caught in Wexford Harbour

Wexford Garda Sea Angling Club hosted the national Coiste Siamsa Garda Championships in Wexford Harbour on Saturday, September 12. Anglers from all parts of the country enjoyed good fishing conditions and caught a total of over 90 fish during the four-hour competition.
At the presentation of prizes in the Farmer's Kitchen Hotel, Wexford Garda Sea Angling Club Chairman, Inspector Pat McDonald welcomed those who had travelled to support the competition and thanked Coiste Siamsa and St Paul's Garda Credit Union for their generous sponsorship of the event. He congratulated the winners and welcomed Chief Superintendent John Roche who presented the winners with their prizes.
