MOTORISTS driving into Wexford along the Rosslare Road through Drinagh could be forgiven for a bit of double-vision over the speed limit in the area.

According to the 'old fashioned' printed sign, the limit is 60 km/h, however, the all-singing, all-dancing solar-powered electronic sign just a few feet away shows 80 km/h for the same stretch.

Drive at less than 80 km/h and more than 60 km/h and the sign will show green and then amber before going into the red at 80 km/h.

It would make an interesting challenge to any speeding tickets issued on the stretch where the legal limit is 60 km/h.
