With only Wexford town votes still to be tallied Cllr Malcolm Byrne is predicting that the county voted 2 to 1 in favour of same sex marriage.
The latest tally figures show 64 per cent in favour of marriage equality with 36 per cent against.
Gorey town has returned a 73 per cent yes vote while Enniscorthy town returned a 70 per cent yes vote. 66 per cent of voters in New Ross town voted in favour of same sex marriage.
Adamstown and Gusserane saw the lowest number of Yes votes so far but they still returned a yes majority.
Cllr Byrne who is involved in the Yes for Equality campaign predicts that the vote will be carried with a majority of two to one. The Presidential Referendum looks likely to be heavily defeated based on the tallies.
