Wallace elected after 13th count

Mick Wallace has been elected in Wexford taking the third seat in the constituency.

Wallace was elected minutes at 5am on Sunday morning with a total vote of 13,420.

His surplus of 1,476 will now be distributed among the remaining candidates with less than 200 votes between Cllr Johnny Mythen and Deputy Paul Kehoe.

The state of play after the 13th count is:

Michael D'Arcy 11,371

Paul Kehoe 9,593

Johnny Mythen 9,405
