Wexford Arts Centre to hold open day

Wexford Arts Centre is inviting the Wexford community to attend their open evening on Thursday, August 20, between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The Arts Centre is a not for profit charitable organisation delivering a vibrant arts programme inspiring all ages in the community. There will be opportunity to pick up the new brochure, check out what's on offer in their upcoming autumn programme, a chance to browse the wonderful Breathe by David Begley exhibition in situ and meet and greet some of the facilitators and artists who will be leading workshops for all ages in the programme.

Information on additional programme events in Presentation Centre Enniscorthy will also be available. Visitors can learn about Mini Maestros for parents and toddlers facilitated by Aileen Donohoe and Peter McCamley to the Art of Mindcraft to Mindfulness workshops and A-Z of Acrylic painting for adults and Contemporary dance classes for youths and adults with Deirdre Grant. Therer will also be the opportunity to advance book for shows including Wexford Drama's 'The 39 Steps' and Bridge Drama's 'The Cripple of Inishmaan' and 'Me Michael' by Abbey Theatre for schools programme and 'How to Keep an Alien' by Rough Magic Theatre and music shows by Mary Coughlan, Eleanor McEvoy and Declan Sinnott.
