INNOVATE CEO Jim Hughes shared a platform recently with former Donegal football manager Jim McGuinness at the Microsoft Partner Network event in Leopardstown, Dublin.
They gave an inspirational session to attendees on how to motivate a team to win.
Both Jims spoke passionately about how they integrate business, life, and sport to inspire their staff to become leaders in their own right.
Gorey-based Jim Hughes explained how his 'Croke Park' is making Innovate 'unbeatable'. He said that he consistently persuades his management team to think like athletes who put their bodies on the line to reach the top.
He said that this winning mentality spreads throughout Innovate giving rise to a team of truly committed IT engineers and consultants, backed up by customer support experts.
Reflecting on the success of the company, Jim explained how business, like sport, is a game of inches. 'Innovate stays true to our core values which are making our people and our customers our most important stakeholders,' he said. 'We find that engaging today's talent nurtures tomorrow's, giving us a team that leaves nothing on the pitch. We seek out those inches and each one makes us better today than we were yesterday.'
The Microsoft event was well attended by industry leaders.
Innovate was founded in February 2005 with the mission of giving business people the power to harness leading-edge technology to grow their companies.
It offers resilient networks, secure cloud solutions and customer service to small, medium, and large companies. It is a privately held company with offices in Wexford and Dublin.
