Wexford Chamber workshop on corporate responsibilities

Wexford Chamber, in conjunction with Chambers Ireland, is setting out to encourage Wexford businesses, and in particular a greater number of SMEs, to consider introducing Corporate Social Responsibility activities in their companies.

In order to promote increased awareness of CSR, Wexford Chamber have organised a CSR workshop at which attendees will recognise the value of CSR and the role it can play in creating a sustainable economy and society. This informative workshop will take place on Wednesday, May 20, in the Riverbank House Hotel, from 12.30 p.m. - 2.30 p.m.

Members and non-members are welcome to attend.

Those attending will learn about CSR and how it can be beneficial for their businesses, will get tips on how to go about starting a CSR programme and hear from companies who have successfully implemented CSR programmes. Special guest speakers include Sinéad Hickey, CSR Manager with Abbott Ireland, Kevin Sludds of Ethics Consultancy & Training International Ltd, Niall Reck of Graphedia, Phil Walker of Econcertive and Bank of New York Mellon.
