Wexford Garda Sinead goes back to school
Wexford-BASED Garda Sinead Flynn went back to school as part of a community engagement project with the staff and children from the St John of God National School in the Faythe.
Sinead is studying for a degree in Policing Studies and presented art competition prizes to the 6th class children, marking the cultimation of that part of her degree, following several months engaged in the community project with the school.
'I really enjoyed it and getting to know the staff and students of Mr (James) Murphy,'s sixth class,' said Sinead, who is from Waterford and was posted to Wexford town after passing out last July.
She worked as a medical secretary for eight years before deciding to join the guards and had previously been a reserve garda in Clonmel.
