Orange is the new way to beat 'black' in Wexford on September 26 as a Cycle Against Suicide SpinOff comes to Wexford.

This Festival of Fun, which aims to combat the stigma of suicidal thoughts, includes a 55km cycle, speakers, and entertainment, led by Cycle Against Suicide founder and 'Secret Millionaire' Jim Breen.

On line registration opens on September 1 but continues right up to the event with a marquee on Wexford Quay. Of course, organisers would appreciate greatly a commitment before then, by those who can.

The cycle, starting at 11 a.m. from Wexford Quay will take in Barntown, Taghmon, Waddingtown, Baldwinstown and Kilmore Quay where there will be a break for refreshments and speakers at the Stella Maris Centre before continuing on to Kilmore, Bridgetown, Piercestown, Drinagh and finishing on Wexford Quay. More refreshments will be served and a mental wellbeing event will follow to which everyone is welcome to attend.
