Wexford gets €34,000 for clean up projects

A total of €34,000 has been allocated to clean up Wexford as part of a €1.09 million funding allocation via two environmental grant schemes, among them anti-litter and anti graffiti awareness projects.

€22,000 is being allocated to Wexford under the 2015 Anti-Litter and Anti-Graffiti Awareness Grant Scheme which allows them to support public education and awareness initiatives in relation to both litter and graffiti.

A further €12,000 is being allocated to supports small scale non-profit local environmental initiatives by communities, individuals and not-for-profit groups.
