It's the beginning of a new season for Wexford Ladies Choir and with that comes new recruits.

Budding members are being encouraged to come along to the first practice on September 1 to get a flavour of what the choir is all about.

The 2015/ 2016 season is set to be a busy one for Wexford Ladies Choir, with several events already in the pipeline. These include a special concert in St Aidan's Cathedral in Enniscorthy where the Wexford singers will be joined by the Curraghower Singers from Limerick. The concert will take place on August 25, with all proceeds going towards the purchase of a new organ for Enniscorthy Cathedral.

The annual Christmas Carol Concert is also set set to draw in the crowds this winter.

The first practice of the season will be held in the Friary Hall on School Street at 8pm. Those looking for more information are advised to call (053) 914 3463.
