Anyone who has been left perplexed after attempting to tackle Ulysses may be interested in a nine-week group reading programme of Joyce's most famous novel.

Led by Mary Hearne in Wexford Library, it will take participants through all 18 episodes of the book. Through their own experience of the book and participation in group discussion, they will gain a measure of familiarity and understanding of this difficult work of literature.

The course begins on Wednesday February 3 and runs until April 13, with breaks on February 24 and March 23.

Booking is essential.
