Darren and Charlotte Rossiter enjoyed double the celebrations when the newlyweds held a wedding reception four months after their big day.

It was the second party for the Wexford-town native and his beaming bride, organised especially for those who couldn't make it to their April wedding in Reading. The idea was the brainchild of Darren's father Anthony, who said that it turned out exactly as they wanted.

'Not everyone could go to the wedding as there were Confirmations and other things on at the time,' he explained. 'I decided to bring the wedding back here to them.'

Over 80 people showed up to the reception in the Gaelic Bar, including Darren's two brothers and other friends and family members.

'We got the whole family back together and had a great night,' said Anthony.

Once the festivities came to an end, the couple returned to their lives in Reading, where Darren works as the Manager of a Health Centre and Charlotte is a nurse. The pair, who first met on a cruise several years ago, decided to set sail together once again when they spent their honeymoon on a Caribbean cruise. According to Anthony, they have both been met with great success in their new hometown.
