Wexford Pantomime Society are open their box office in the Dun Mhuire this Saturday (December 12) from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and to celebrate, many of the zany characters from the show, including Snow White, Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel will be on hand to meet and greet the crowds.

The Wexford Fife and Drum Band will also be present to spread some Christmas cheer and then the characters will be heading up the town to cause havoc. They will also put in a special guest appearance at the Santa Train and then visit the wonderful Wexford Winter Land on Wexford Quays.

For over 47 years Wexford Pantomime Society have brought the people of Wexford one of the largest and most professional pantomimes in the country and this year the group are pulling out all the stops with what is officially their biggest production yet!

This year's show is in fact a combination of several classic stories pulled together in a new and exciting script by Thomas O'Leary. 'Snow White and the Babes in the Wood' is a combination of the classic stories of Snow White, Rapunzel, Hansel and Gretel and Little Red Riding Hood. Narrated by none other than the world famous Brothers Grimm the original authors of these stories, they take us on a magical adventure as our imaginations reshape these classic tales.

How can so much excitement be fitted into one Panto? You'll have to go to find and prepare to be entertained. The box office will be open every Saturday between now and Christmas and from December 19 to 23, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The phone number is 053 9123061 and tickets start at €10.
