Wexford people will gather to highlight the effects of climate change by shining a light of their own in Murrintown on Thursday (September 24).

A candlelit vigil will take place on the eve of the UN Sustainable Development Summit, which will see world leaders gather to make profound decisions about the future of the planet.

The vigil will take place in Murphy's Barn from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Guests are asked to bring a candle and a cushion to sit on. To book a place, contact Bernadette on 087 992 1340.
