Wexford songstress Emily Jane launches a debut single
WEXFORD singer songwriter Emily Jane Furlong, whose recent recording of the song 'Grace' went viral with more than a million views in just two weeks, has launched a debut single 'Island Road'.
Emily Jane said that following the launch, she will be going on a mini tour around Ireland and the UK, before heading to the USA to perform with Carnival Cruise Lines.
An emerging talent of on the Irish music scene, Emily Jane recently amassed an impressive online following on the back of a stunning performance of 'Grace', which garnered over a million views in just two weeks, the Wexford based singer-songwriter continues to build on an already jam-packed career.
Emily Jane grew up playing music.
Since she joined her father Nicky's band at just 11 years of age, Emily Jane has played thousands of shows across Ireland, the UK and Europe, and also spent an extended stint with the Irish tour of the hit musical 'RENT'.
Her rendition of 'Grace' - accompanied by her father and performed at the Church of the Assumption, in Rathangan, for The Rising Commemoration, was posted on Facebook by her sister Edwina Moran, drawing thousands of views and comments, ranging from 'brilliant to absolutely beautiful, from awesome to amazing.'
