Wexford-town native Alex Saunders is bound to be a big hit with his classmates after he got snapped with rugby star Paul O' Connell.
The 13-year-old, who attends C.B.S. in Wexford bumped into the player while on a cruise of the Mediterranean. Although Alex doesn't play rugby himself, he was delighted to meet with the star and found that he was more than happy to pose for a selfie with him.
Alex's parents Eamon and Fiona, self-confessed rugby fanatics, ensured that they got their moment too. The Leinster fans shook the player's hand and congratulated him on his move to Toulon.
'He was a lovely man,' said Eamon, who recently went to see Leinster play against Edinburgh with his wife, 'He happily posed for pictures with the few Irish families on the ship before going for dinner with his family.'
