Wexford to get €170,000 for pier and harbour work

County Wexford is to get a €170,000 government grant as part of a national programme for the repair and development of piers and harbours.
€112,500 will be allocated to Wexford, Courtown, Cahore, Carne, Fethard, Slade and Duncannon Harbour for health and safety and access works including installation of car crash barriers and pier edge toe rails and ladders.
41,250 will be allocated to Kilmore Quay Harbour for for marina works & improvements including gates, fencing, ladders, oil spill, walkway and pontoon upgrade, health & safety and access works.
€15,000 will be allocated to Wexford Harbour for resurfacing works at Killurin and Edermine slipways.
