WELL-KNOWN Wexford community warden and amateur photographer Pat Sheridan has opened a new business in the town.

From tomorrow (Wednesday, October 21) Pat Sheridan Photography will be situated in 49 South Main Street, opposite Heatons.

'This has always been a dream of mine since I took up photography ten years ago. I have had four very successful exhibitions over the last four opera festivals and I am now looking forward to having my work displayed in a unique gallery experience for the people of Wexford and beyond,' he said.

Pat said among the highlights of his photographic career so far was flying over Wexford and photographing the landmarks.

'One particular image that stands out for me has to be the aerial shot of the Raven Point. In this image you can see from the point of the Raven to Cahore point, a truly awe-inspiring image,' he said.

Pat says that as well as his photographic business, he intends to remain working for the local authority.
