Wexford's top brass on song for TV appearance

Sharon Clancy, the face of Irish TV's Wexford County Matters, the online and television magazine programme, met county Wexford's top brass in the form of the Loch Garman Youth Brass Band at their bandroom, the Quaker Hall, on High Street.

The Youth Band, which has more than 25 members, aged between 10 and 16, played a selection of pieces which will be included in the broadcast by Sharon and her team at 6.30 p.m. on Sunday, January 31.

Also in the programme, which is on the Sky TV platform and Saorview, will be interviews with Caoimhe O'Sullivan and Karen Roche, the two soloists of the Youth Band and an interview with John Clancy, Music Director and conductor of the band.
