€14,000 raised at Kelly's food and wine fund raiser

By David Tucker

the recent fund raiser for Windmill Therapeutic Centre at Kelly's Resort Hotel, run as part of the Wexford Food and Wine Festival, raised a whopping €14,000. Every cent raised at the 'A Taste of Burgundy' event in La Marine Bistro will go towards Windmill's garden project at Stonebridge, in Larkin's Lane. Head of Windmill Joan Larkin said the group was grateful to Des Pettitt, who made a suitable space available at Stonebridge Lane and to Billy Kelly and his staff for the fab fund raiser at La Marine.

Seventy people attended the function and other people made donations. Windmill's purpose is to provide Day Service to adults with mild to moderate intellectual disability. Windmill would like to hear from those in the community who may have an interest in participating or volunteering their help on (053) 9122358. See Page 35.
