Wexford Americana folk band 'Corner Boy' will headline Shedfest in Buffers Alley on Saturday, July 11.

This year's event will feature two stages. Other acts on the bill include: an eight-piece funk soul disco band, the Cosmic Funk Band from Cork; 5 Dollar Shakes from Gorey; and local musician Robbie Breen. Along with the live music, there's also a DJ till late, a tasty barbecue, a late bar, and an all night taxi rank. Mick Stamp Taxi and buses will be running a taxi service to and from the Shedfest. Tickets are €20 and are on sale from all club members.

A night of cookery and comedy 

7 COMEDY AND COOKERY. Monaseed National School parents' association will host a fun evening of comedy and cooking in the Amber Springs Hotel on Wednesday night, February 8. On the night three local chefs, Eric Poole, Veronica Redmond and Ben Anderson, will take part in a cook off ably assisted by some local celebrities.
