Chamber to host opera night

Wexford Chamber of Commerce is hosting a night at the opera.

This year the chamber has a limited number of tickets for the opening night of the festival which is already sold out.

Taking place on Wednesday, October 26 those attending will enjoy a performance of Herculanum with dinner at the award winning La Cote restaurant at 5pm.

This will be followed by a pre opera drink in the National Opera House and an interval drink during the opera.

A night of cookery and comedy 

7 COMEDY AND COOKERY. Monaseed National School parents' association will host a fun evening of comedy and cooking in the Amber Springs Hotel on Wednesday night, February 8. On the night three local chefs, Eric Poole, Veronica Redmond and Ben Anderson, will take part in a cook off ably assisted by some local celebrities.
