Comedy night at Arts Centre

Begin your New Year with comedy on Friday, January 29, at Wexford Arts Centre with the Stars of Irish Comedy with Pat McDonnell, Danny O'Brien and Tom O'Mahony.

These are three of Ireland's best comics and they take to the stage for a brilliant two hour comedy show. Featuring a comedian who has performed in three of Ireland's most popular TV shows, Pat McDonnell, star of Channel 4's Father Ted (Eoin McLove), RTE's The Savage Eye, and Sky 1's Moone Boy. Tom O Mahony, who for many years has been a regular and highly-lauded stand-up fixture at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

More recently, he has gained much notoriety for his role as 'Tarquin', the intolerable toff in the RTE television series Damo and Ivor and finally Danny O Brien completes this line-up. Danny has been performing stand-up comedy for over six years, performing regularly at top comedy clubs and festivals in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the US.

Song project in Kilmuckridge 

5 LOCAL SONG PROJECT: Traditional singer Aileen Lambert will facilitate a new project focusing on exploring local songs and unaccompanied traditional singing in Kilmuckridge. Starting this Wednesday, September 13 from 7.30 p.m. in Bridie Hammel's Pub this project will take place over the course of a number of weeks.
