Everyone was bright and blooming at the Castlebridge flower arranging demonstration when they were joined by special guest, Fergus Hemmingway.

The award-winning floral artist joined over 60 people at Ardcolm Church of Ireland Church in Castlebridge to share the secrets of flower arranging. Although he placed a particular emphasis on displays for home and church settings, Fergus also demonstrated how the displays can be adapted for any situation.

There was a raffle held for each arrangement made on the night. According to Seamus O' Leary, it was very well-received by the audience.

'There was great excitement when Fergus held the free raffle for his magnificent arrangements,' he said.

The event was organised by the Castlebridge Show Committee as part of their 75th anniversary celebrations. Their next event will be the Castlebridge Show itself, taking place on August 9 in Castlebridge Hall.
