Diner's delight at Wexford Street Feast

Charlotte Street in Wexford town will be a diner's delight on Sunday, June 14, for Street Feast! when some of Wexford's best chefs present a wonderful array of delicious food, accompanied by great music and craic for all the family.

Eugene Rockett, from D'Lush, Richie Trapp, from Greenacres, Paul Hynes, from La Cóte, Peter Murphy, from the Yard and Paul Roche, from the Little Yard, have all teamed up to present an exciting menu, with music from John Stewart and friends, along with fun family entertainment. The event starts at 2.30 p.m.

The menu for the day includes: Lamb kofta, pork, ale and leek sausages, grilled pork belly, gourmet beef sliders, Meylers barbecued seafood and a selection of gourmet desserts.

Tickets at €20 are available from The Stores, Greenacres, La Cóte and D'Lush.

All monies received go directly to the Festive Lighting Fund.

5 GREYHOUND RACE NIGHT CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL FUNDRAISER. The annual Enniscorthy Christmas fundraising night at the dogs takes place this Thursday, September 21, at Enniscorthy Greyhound Track. Song project in Kilmuckridge 

5 LOCAL SONG PROJECT: Traditional singer Aileen Lambert will facilitate a new project focusing on exploring local songs and unaccompanied traditional singing in Kilmuckridge. Starting this Wednesday, September 13 from 7.30 p.m. in Bridie Hammel's Pub this project will take place over the course of a number of weeks. Local songs such as the Tinneaberna Fisherman will be researched and performed as part of the project and at the end a booklet will be produced along with videos featuring local songs and local singers.
