Faythe NS centenary concert

Faythe National School will stage the Faythe Community Centenary Concert in Wexford's Dún Mhuire on Tuesday, March 15 at 7.30pm.

This year every school in the country will raise the national flag as part of the 1916 celebrations and this concert will celebrate both the school and the wider Faythe community during this momentous century year.

This unique variety show will feature contributions from the Faythe School Choir, teacher Amanda Kehoe, pupil Diana Kaltcheva, the Faythe Harriers Hurling and Camógie Club, the South End Singers, Adm. of Wexford Parish - Fr. Aodhán Marken, the Sea Shanty Singers, Cllr. George Lawlor, past pupils Pat Lawlor and Catherine 'Biddy' Walsh, St. Mary's GAA Club, Maudlintown, the Faythe School Rock Choir, past pupil Padraig Byrne, the Loch Garman Junior Band and the South End Ladies with their Proclamation for a New Generation.

It is also expected that there will be a few surprise guests on the night which are guaranteed to be a big hit.

Kilmuckridge Drama Festival 

7 KILMUCKRIDGE DRAMA FESTIVAL: This runs in KMH each evening at 8pm from February 24 until March 4. In total nine plays will be staged throughout the festival including a number of local productions.
