Feast of Wexford back in town during Maritime Festival

The Feast of Wexford will be returning to town staring on Friday, June 24, as part of the Wexford Maritime Festival.

On Friday (June 24), the weekend gets under way with a Feast of Wexford pop up restaurant. A wonderfully creative and delicious gala dinner developed by the talented Wexford chef, Phelim Byrne using only Wexford food ingredients.

On Saturday, June 25 and 25, 24 Wexford producers will be on the quay in Wexford to meet customers, talk about what they do and how they produce their fabulous foods and give customers the chance to taste and buy.

Entry to the Feast of Wexford Market is free. There will also be a Wexford Craft beer garden with three local brewers' beers to sample and 13 Wexford chefs have been confirmed so far to give free cookery demonstrations in the Family Kitchen Marquee.

A night of cookery and comedy 

7 COMEDY AND COOKERY. Monaseed National School parents' association will host a fun evening of comedy and cooking in the Amber Springs Hotel on Wednesday night, February 8. On the night three local chefs, Eric Poole, Veronica Redmond and Ben Anderson, will take part in a cook off ably assisted by some local celebrities.
