Four Starcamps taking place this summer in Wexford

Children's performing arts network Starcamp is to host summer camps in four Wexford locations next July and August.

Supported by banana importers Fyffes, Starcamp creator Aideen O'Grady says the week long camp for boys and girls aged 4-12 is 'designed to teach performance and build confidence through song, dance, drama and games'.

The camps will be held in the Presentation Secondary School, Wexford Town from July 11 to July 15, Gorey Community School from July 25 to July 29, St. Michael's Theatre, New Ross from August 2 to August 6 and St. Mary's CBS, Enniscorthy from August 15 to August 19.

Night at the dogs 

5 GREYHOUND RACE NIGHT CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL FUNDRAISER. The annual Enniscorthy Christmas fundraising night at the dogs takes place this Thursday, September 21, at Enniscorthy Greyhound Track. Song project in Kilmuckridge 

5 LOCAL SONG PROJECT: Traditional singer Aileen Lambert will facilitate a new project focusing on exploring local songs and unaccompanied traditional singing in Kilmuckridge. Starting this Wednesday, September 13 from 7.30 p.m. in Bridie Hammel's Pub this project will take place over the course of a number of weeks.
