Just when you think you've seen the ultimate comedy Wexford Arts Centre has a surprise for you with a surreal comedy about one woman's rivalry with a Charolais Heifer.

Set on a farm in rural Ireland with a Heifer who speaks French 'Charolais' will be staged on Thursday, September 10 at 8pm.

Winner of the Bewley's 'Little Gem Award' at the Tiger Dublin Fringe 201 this is a dark comedy of love and longing. Written and performed by Noni Stapleton, directed by Bairbre Ni Chaoimh and produced by Bigger Picture Projects the story centres around Siobhan's boyfriend, the farmer who devotes considerable attention to his prize heifer at the expense of his very pregnant girlfriend. As a result Siobhan has developed a homicidal jealousy for this Charolais.
