NOTED Irish singer Brian Kennedy is joining the Dublin Gospel Choir for their free Christmas concert in Wexford's Bullring.
The event takes place at 8 p.m. on Friday, December 18, and not this coming weekend, as previously advertised.
This open-air concert is being held as part of The Wondrous Wexford Winterland Festival and promises an enthralling evening of song under the Christmas lights in the Bullring - free of charge.
The renowned Dublin Gospel Choir are probably the only act in the world to collaborate with artists as diverse as Stevie Wonder, Nitin Sawhney, John Legend, Riverdance, James Brown, Damien Rice, Rod Stewart, The Chieftains and, in July 2013, with the legendary composer Ennio Morricone.
Brian Kennedy, who makes a rare appearance with the choir for this very special Christmas performance, has had a number of chart-topping albums and much success around the world, in particular in the UK, the USA and Australia.
The Wexford show promises a magical evening with a special performance of 'You Raise Me Up' sure to feature.
