BEST Dressed Man Cormac Bates says his outfit that so impressed the judge at the RDS last week was inspired by the style of UFC fighter Conor McGregor.

Cormac proved that Wexford is ahead in the style stakes when he picked up the prize for best-dressed man at the Discover Ireland Dublin Horse Show.

The 19-year-old from Kilmore, who works in a suit store, was awarded the title of Louis Copeland Best Dressed Man for wearing a three-piece suit from Industry.

As a result of his efforts, Cormac was presented with a voucher for designer clothing store, Louis Copeland.

The competition was judged by Irish model Pippa O' Connor who praised all of the entrants for their adventurous style.
