Man United Legends to play at Ferrycarrig Park

TICKETS are selling fast for the visit by Manchester United legends to Wexford later this month.

Ferrycarrig Park will host a charity match involving some Man Utd Legends on behalf of Tesco Gorey, in aid of their charity of the year partner, Temple Street Children's Hospital, on May 23.

Former Man U players, David May, Clayton Blackmore, Keith Gillespie, Arthur Albiston, Neil Webb, Frank Stapleton, Lee Martin and Sammy McIlroy will take to the Ferrycarrig Pitch to play a Tesco Legends XI.

Song project in Kilmuckridge 

5 LOCAL SONG PROJECT: Traditional singer Aileen Lambert will facilitate a new project focusing on exploring local songs and unaccompanied traditional singing in Kilmuckridge. Starting this Wednesday, September 13 from 7.30 p.m. in Bridie Hammel's Pub this project will take place over the course of a number of weeks.
